¿Why did I choose my major?

 

Hi guys, this is my second blog and today I’ll talk about why did I choose my major, I hope you enjoy J.

Well, as you know actually I’m studying dentistry, but ¿do you know why I decided to study this major?, let´s talk about it.

In my childhood I always wanted to be a professional soccer player, I spent many time practicing and playing with my friends to become a real player, but then I just got bored about playing soccer so many time and I left that idea. When I was like 10 years old I wanted to be a civil constructor like my dad, if someone asked about what I wanted to be I just said I wanted to be a civil constructor like him, In fact, my dad used to bought me Lego’s and many toys about construction and I really loved it. 

When I grow up I decided to study medicine, I was aware about how difficult that major was and I started to study a lot in the high school. When I was like 15 years old I started thinking about other options related with health so I decided dentistry, I chose that because I liked to know about the human body and I wanted to know how we can help people with our knowledge.

Now, I chose this university because is one of the best universities in Chile, and there are many things to do here in Santiago. My experience has been good until now, I met many people here and I made really good friends, they also taught me about many places over here and it has been so useful.
